Stretch Goal Announced! 3 days to go!

Hello Awesome Backers!

I have just posted details about the stretch goal on the campaign, and i'm excited to let you know the details below!

It's certainly a stretch, but even if only the 38 people who liked the last post are each able to move 6 others to back the project, we've nailed it.

I've made the stretch goal free - you don't have to pledge any more money to get it - all we have to do is share it to encourage others to jump on board!

I'm not flying today ... i've been chained to my desk doing numbers :)

Breaking news ...

I've been so incredibly humbled by the response for this project - thank you to all who have chosen to back me!

Ever since a bunch of you messaged and asked me about stretch goals, I have been racking my brain about what to do. The biggest concern for me has been offering too much, overcommitting and biting off more than I can chew - affecting the delivery date of something you have all paid hard earned cash for!

So rather than ask you to increase your pledges to hit the stretch goal, I've decided to make it free - and hope that we can hit the goal together, by sharing this campaign and telling as many people as we can about it.

So here's the deal, if we can hit $40,000 everyone will get a Cord Noose in the same colour as their Cord Roll :)

Great for larger cords that don't fit into the Cord Roll, the Cord Noose is also helpful for other cords around the house ... or even that designer minimalist lightbulb-on-the-end-of-a-cord thingy that looked so good in the shop (!)

Here's how easy this is to achieve - if every one of the 420 backers to date can move just one other person to back this campaign then we will have nailed this stretch goal twice over ... so if this resonates with you lets get going - we've only a few days left!

I hope that your week is cracking along nicely. 

I am updating from Hong Kong today – here’s a picture from the flight up yesterday: 

What a beautiful day down there! When you can see reflection of the clouds in the water from 35,000’ (almost 11km), you know it’s calm ☺ 

Before I get into the details of this update I need to say another massive THANK YOU to all of you, the awesome backers. You are part of this now, and it really means a huge amount to me. Not only have you pledged your hard earned cash, but many of you have shared the campaign on social media, followed the @afternoonswithalbert instagram account, and even privately messaged me just to say well done! 

You guys seriously rock!

So now onto the update – and answers to two of the most popular questions I’ve had: 

1. Stretch Goal?

I am working on one of these as we speak! I just have to make sure I don’t bite off more than I can chew first ☺ IF I am sure i’m able to deliver, I’ll announce a stretch goal. STAY TUNED.

2. How do I give you my address details? 

You will be sent a survey sometime after the campaign ends on December 1st. For the early birds, its SUPER important that you fill this out right away, as Christmas is fast approaching.

Hello awesome backers!

I trust this update finds you well and enjoying the weekend wherever you are in the world.

I continued to be humbled by the support you have all offered the project. I could not have dreamed after I sat down to sew the first prototype that I would be writing this message. I didn't even know that it was really ever destined to be a prototype (!).

But here we are, and it's awesome.

So first up, “where are we at?” I hear you say. 

Great question. And it has a great answer. Production is underway! 

The brass logo stamp has been cast:

Things are on track, and it look like blue skies ahead:

It's a bit of a struggle to speak right now, let alone type!

Thank you so much for all your support and kind comments throughout today - it has been incredible, and surpassed my wildest expectations. 

The project is now fully funded and I have pushed the big green production button.
